My Trip To Puerto Rico (trip recap and outfit round-up)
May 7, 2019
Day one in Puerto Rico: As soon as we landed, we did what anyone would do when first getting to Puerto Rico...we went out to eat! This restaurant was difficult to get to but well worth it.
First reataurant was La Garita Yaz and it was so so good.
Travel Outfit: This floral two-piece set is what I wore on the plane. I bought it last year from Nordstrom Rack but I am linking several similar mix and match options. I typically would not wear this outfit for traveling but I knew we would be landing mid day and that we would be go go go from the second we landed.
We hung out at the restaurant (mentioned above) for most of the day while everyone's flights got in. Then we went back to the hotel to get ready for my father-in-law's surprise birthday party.
Evening Outfit for surprise party: I wore this two-piece set from Forever 21 with my Asos headband and earrings. I love this F21 set because you can mix and match them! I have already worn the bottoms with a graphic tee for a more casual look. I got a size Large because I would say it runs small. The top was looser on me but I needed a large so the bottoms would be more flattering.
Day Two: We took a bus through El Yunque (the rain forest) and went swimming. It was incredible and the temperature was perfect. Although we didn't do any other activities than swimming, you can also go zip lining (make sure you book this in advance as it takes two hours and they only do it a few times a day), horseback riding or enjoy waterfalls and the natural rock water slide.
In the evening we went out for drinks and dinner. Evening outfit: dress purchased a while ago from Forever 21 but I have linked several similar ones!

Day Three: We booked a bus that took us restaurant hopping basically. I'm pretty proud that I wore a white dress all day and got no stains on my dress haha! I call that a win.

I don't know the exact name of every restaurant we went to because a lot of them were local spots. We came home exhausted but had a blast. We 100% want to return to Puerto Rico some day very soon! Let me know if you enjoyed this travel blog post! I am traveling to Miami this weekend for a bachelorette weekend and I'd be more than happy to do a blog post on that too. I'd do an outfit round up and a list of all the restaurants we eat at. Let me know!
